Actor Aidan Quinn pled guilty on April 21, 2005 to a charge of drunk driving stemming from an incident in October 2003. Quinn was filming Empire Falls for HBO in Waterville, ME when police stopped him over for driving erratically. His Breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol of .12%. He pled guilty and was ordered to pay a $500 fine, and his license was suspended for 90 days.

R&B singer Michael Archer, better known as D'Angelo was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and other misdemeanors in Virginia in November 2002 stemming from an incident in which the Grammy winner allegedly cut off a female motorist. According to official reports, the 28-year-old singer cursed and spit on the other motorist. The police subsequently served an arrest warrant on him and had to use pepper spray to subdue the agitated performer.
