A February 1998 incident at Phoenix's Sky Harbor Airport in Arizona led Guns N' Roses lead singer Axl Rose to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace. Rose cursed and shook his fist at an airport supervisor, who wanted to look through the singer's bags at a security checkpoint.

Katherine Lambeth, 50, of Cloverhill Drive allowed a man named "G" to borrow her 1980 Oldsmobile, Officer Shawn Haney reported. In exchange, she received from him $50 worth of crack cocaine and a promise to return the car by 5 p.m. last Saturday. When he didn't return the car as promised, she reported her car missing Monday. The car is valued at $1,500.

Memphis police arrested Paul Wight, aka The Big Show, Paul Wight, in December 1998 for allegedly exposing himself to a female motel employee. Prosecutors had insufficient evidence to proceed and subsequently dropped the criminal charges. The 500-pound-wrestler--then billed as The Giant--was in Memphis for a World Championship Wrestling (WCW) event; he now wrestles (as The Big Show) for Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Entertainment, which took over WCW in 2001.
