Minutes after his younger brother was arrested for obstructing police officers responding to a carjacking and shooting, 72-year-old Bobby Unser received the same charge in August 2006. Police state that the three-time Indianapolis 500 winner arrived at a roadblock his brother had just attempted to bypass and, after refusing several officers' orders to return to his Dodge, Al was taken to a Bernalillo County sheriff's substation and charged.

R&B singer Michael Archer, better known as D'Angelo was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and other misdemeanors in Virginia in November 2002 stemming from an incident in which the Grammy winner allegedly cut off a female motorist. According to official reports, the 28-year-old singer cursed and spit on the other motorist. The police subsequently served an arrest warrant on him and had to use pepper spray to subdue the agitated performer.
