In 2005, Georgia state police clocked comedian Chris Tucker, 33, going 109 in his 2005 Bentley. He refused to pull over for them and was charged with reckless driving and fleeing to elude. Tucker, the star of Rush Hour, was a guest of the McDuffie County jail before being released on a cash bond. In October, Gary Gordon of Nevada, IA reported a burglary. Gordon indicated an unknown party entered his residence and took a half gallon of ice cream from the freezer. The loss was estimated at $5.00. Investigation is continuing.

Rosa Parks

Civil rights icon Rosa Parks was arrested in February 1956 in Montgomery, Alabama for failing to give up her seat on the bus to a white person, actions that sparked the multi-month Montgomery bus boycotts. Parks was found guilty of civil disobedience and violating a city ordinance and fined ten dollars, plus an additional four dollars in court costs.
