Katherine Lambeth, 50, of Cloverhill Drive allowed a man named "G" to borrow her 1980 Oldsmobile, Officer Shawn Haney reported. In exchange, she received from him $50 worth of crack cocaine and a promise to return the car by 5 p.m. last Saturday. When he didn't return the car as promised, she reported her car missing Monday. The car is valued at $1,500.
The former frontman for Phish, Ernest "Trey" Anastasio was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of medications not prescribed in his name. In December 2006, Whitehall, New York, authorities found Xanax, Percocet, and Hydrocodone in Anastasio's possession during a traffic stop a few miles from the Vermont border. In addition to the criminal possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated (drugs) charges, Anastasio was cited for driving without a license.
