Texan actor Rip Torn was arrested for drunk driving in the city suburb of North Salem, New York in December 2006 for crashing his car into a tractor-trailer. State police said the 75-year-old actor was visibly intoxicated and refused a Breathalyzer test. He was later quoted as saying "I love New York" after being acquitted in a juried trial. Torn was arrested on the same charge two years earlier in New York City for crashing into a taxi.

Police are investigating two incidents involving a male exposing himself on the Neumann College campus. The first incident occurred Jan. 22, about 2:45 p.m., in a stairwell. A female student said she encountered a white male in his mid-20s who was exposing himself. A second incident was reported about 3 p.m. Feb. 11. The male was described as white, between 20 and 30 years old, about 180 pounds with short brown hair and wearing large frame glasses, faded brown bomber jacket and a blue shirt.

Nashville, Tennessee, authorities were making a routine traffic stop when they detected the smell of booze on country singer Wynonna Judd in November 2003. The 39-year-old musician, whose watery eyes were dilated, blew a .175 on the consensual Breathalyzer test - more than twice the legal limit. She was charged with drunk driving.
