In February 2007, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department arrested actor Ryan O'Neal, 65, after he had a dispute with his son at his Malibu home. O'Neal allegedly fired a gun at his son Griffin during the fight. He was held for less than 5 hours at the Lost Hills station and released after posting $50,000 bail. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, but neither he nor his son required medical treatment.
