Arizona Man Sentenced For Shooting His Car

A western Arizona man has received a three-month sentence after authorities say he shot his Camaro because it wouldn't start and then refused to come out of his home.

The Kingman Daily Miner reports Lauriano Lawrence Lovato went out to his car April 13, and when it wouldn't start, he fired two rounds through the windshield and into the dashboard. Neighbors called police, and Lovato was eventually arrested after a lengthy standoff. The Kingman man pleaded guilty to one count of discharging a gun unlawfully within city limits and was sentenced to three years probation and 90 days jail time.

Police are investigating two incidents involving a male exposing himself on the Neumann College campus. The first incident occurred Jan. 22, about 2:45 p.m., in a stairwell. A female student said she encountered a white male in his mid-20s who was exposing himself. A second incident was reported about 3 p.m. Feb. 11. The male was described as white, between 20 and 30 years old, about 180 pounds with short brown hair and wearing large frame glasses, faded brown bomber jacket and a blue shirt.

Michelle Rodriguez

Actress Michelle Rodriguez, 27, who plays police officer Ana Lucia on the TV show Lost, was arrested by real-life police in December 2005 after her cars was seen weaving in Kailua, Hawaii. After failing a field sobriety test, Rodriguez was charged with driving under the influence and released on $500 bail. Her character on the show was subsequently killed off.
