Cops: Mom Stopped By Wal-Mart Security, Leaves Baby In Cart

A Walmart loss prevention officer told Ocala police that two women fled the store after being stopped for shoplifting. They allegedly put clothes in a baby's diaper bag, reports the Ocala Star-Banner.

One of the women, 19-year-old mom Allison Nicole Niemeyer, immediately ran away, leaving her one-year-old boy behind with her sister, Laura Kay Niemeyer, 22, who then broke free from the employee and also ran away, according to the report. Click Here To Read More

A woman claimed her lover broke her finger. However, it was known that her finger had been broken in an unrelated incident and he wasn't charged. Both parties were intoxicated and counseled by deputies.

Texan actor Rip Torn was arrested for drunk driving in the city suburb of North Salem, New York in December 2006 for crashing his car into a tractor-trailer. State police said the 75-year-old actor was visibly intoxicated and refused a Breathalyzer test. He was later quoted as saying "I love New York" after being acquitted in a juried trial. Torn was arrested on the same charge two years earlier in New York City for crashing into a taxi.
