A drunken teenager stole two buses and drove a Stagecoach double-decker 60 miles in an attempt to visit his heavily-pregnant girlfriend, a court heard.

He was intercepted on a motorway by police after calling into a service station for cigarettes which he asked to be put "on the Stagecoach account". Click Here To Read More

In October, Gary Gordon of Nevada, IA reported a burglary. Gordon indicated an unknown party entered his residence and took a half gallon of ice cream from the freezer. The loss was estimated at $5.00. Investigation is continuing.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. was arrested by Alabama police in February 1956 for his part in the Montgomery bus boycotts. He served a brief stint in jail. King was sentenced again two years later for civil disobedience and ordered jail time, but he never served it thanks to a public official who opted to pay the fines instead (and avoid King's notorious publicity).
