In case you missed the news earlier, that bank robbery that briefly closed K Street near 14th this morning appears to have been perpetrated by someone who is several sandwiches short of a picnic.
Early reports indicated that the suspect told a teller at the PNC Bank branch that he had a bomb, received some cash and an exploding dye pack, and then proceeded to hail a cab and asked to be taken to 14th and Euclid Streets NW.
A resident of Wellingwood Drive reported that his mailbox in the shape of a cow was stolen.

Memphis police arrested Paul Wight, aka The Big Show, Paul Wight, in December 1998 for allegedly exposing himself to a female motel employee. Prosecutors had insufficient evidence to proceed and subsequently dropped the criminal charges. The 500-pound-wrestler--then billed as The Giant--was in Memphis for a World Championship Wrestling (WCW) event; he now wrestles (as The Big Show) for Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Entertainment, which took over WCW in 2001.
