Man Doesn't Want To Go To Jail Without Underwear

A man who didn't want to go to jail without underwear faces an additional charge of possession of drugs.

On May 31 Fort Walton Beach Police officers contacted the man at his Second Avenue residence about an outstanding warrant. The arresting officer wrote in his report the man became argumentative and said he'd worked out his bill with the electric company, but the officer told him this was about an outstanding warrant with Okaloosa County, and that he was being arrested.

Texan actor Rip Torn was arrested for drunk driving in the city suburb of North Salem, New York in December 2006 for crashing his car into a tractor-trailer. State police said the 75-year-old actor was visibly intoxicated and refused a Breathalyzer test. He was later quoted as saying "I love New York" after being acquitted in a juried trial. Torn was arrested on the same charge two years earlier in New York City for crashing into a taxi.
