Man Faces Felony After Tossing McDonald's Fries At Girl

A Massachusetts man is facing charges of assault with a dangerous weapon after throwing McDonald's French fries in the face of his 11-year-old stepdaughter, according to information from NDN video.

James Hackett was amid an argument with his wife inside their vehicle when the girl tried to diffuse the situation, which only made him more angry, NDN says. He threw the fries, and his wife later called police.

Since the fries were hot and oily, it could be considered a weapon and thus a felony, police said.
