Man Finds Alleged Robbers On Facebook

Police in Florida said a robbery victim turned the tables on the suspected culprits by using Facebook and Twitter to learn their identities.

Sam Drummond, 26, of Delray Beach, said he received a phone call Sept. 8 at Palm-Tech, his recently opened cellphone shop in Lantana, from a man he knew as Jean Jacques, a recent customer who had sold an iPhone to the shop, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Thursday. Click Here To Read More

A man in the 1400 block of East Banavie Terrace in Bel Air told police on May 16 his friends and him were playing beer pong in a garage near Aldino Road when one of them accidentally shot him in the forehead with an air pump gun.

Rip Torn

Texan actor Rip Torn was arrested for drunk driving in the city suburb of North Salem, New York in December 2006 for crashing his car into a tractor-trailer. State police said the 75-year-old actor was visibly intoxicated and refused a Breathalyzer test. He was later quoted as saying "I love New York" after being acquitted in a juried trial. Torn was arrested on the same charge two years earlier in New York City for crashing into a taxi.
