Man Ok's Search Of Residence; Deputy Finds Cocaine Container Lying In Plain View

A man who gave an Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputy permission to search his apartment left a container full of cocaine residue in plain view in his bedroom.

On July 13 the deputy contacted the man at his Cypress Street residence. The arrest report didn't indicate why the deputy got in touch with the man, but during that time the man allowed the deputy to search his apartment. Click Here To Read More

A Meadow Drive woman reported Thursday that sometime on June 22, someone entered a bedroom in her house and stole a pair of diamond earrings worth $1,100. The woman's daughter reportedly admitted that she sold the earrings to a dealer for $50.
