A man who reportedly told police he was trying to deter a friend from driving drunk by blasting the friend's windshield with paintballs wound up in jail.

Jamal Barrow
Jamal Barrow, a protege of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs also known as Shyne, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in April 2002 for assault, gun possession, and reckless endangerment in connection with a December 1999 shooting in a New York City nightclub. Barrow will be eligible for parole from the Clinto Correctional Facility in 2009. Combs, Barrow's codefendant, was acquitted of weapons charges during the Manhattan trial.
