Elton Jerome Davis. Jr. is accused of leaving a 17-month-old child alone in his home while he went to work, according to a news release from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office.

The 24-year-old Fort Walton Beach man told deputies that he had placed the sleeping child on the couch - and put some Cheerio's and orange juice nearby - before he left for work, the report states. Click Here To Read More

In October, Gary Gordon of Nevada, IA reported a burglary. Gordon indicated an unknown party entered his residence and took a half gallon of ice cream from the freezer. The loss was estimated at $5.00. Investigation is continuing.

In March 2006, Florida authorities charged Jay Jenkins (aka Young Jeezy) with two counts of carrying a concealed firearm without a permit. Miami Beach police reports state that the 28-year-old rapper was arrested after an alleged shootout in South Beach involving several members of his entourage. Authorities stopped the group a short time later and found a semi-automatic gun under Jeezy's seat and another near the armrest.
