Lou Rawls

Albuquerque, New Mexico, authorities charged R&B singer Lou Rawls with battery in January 2003. The criminal complaint states that the Grammy winner argued with his girlfriend, Nina Inman, over a former girlfriend. Inman was staying with the 69-year-old singer at the Wyndham Hotel when she told authorities that he grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the ground. The authorities also noted scratches on Inman's neck. Rawls posted the $2,500 bail and was released from the Bernalillo County Jail.
