Popular Beach Restaurant Owner Admits Employees Spit In Cop's Food

According to a Jacksonville Beach Police memo, the chief of police has issued a warning to his staff that eating at Cruisers Grill, located at 317 23rd Ave. South, may be hazardous to their health.

A police report obtained by First Coast News says the owner of Cruisers at Jacksonville Beach told police he knew that his employees had been spitting in the food of officer, but now he understood why. "Because you are all bullies", the owner reportedly told police.

A Meadow Drive woman reported Thursday that sometime on June 22, someone entered a bedroom in her house and stole a pair of diamond earrings worth $1,100. The woman's daughter reportedly admitted that she sold the earrings to a dealer for $50.

Robert Iler

Teenage actor Robert Iler was arrested by New York City cops in July 2001 after the police reportedly saw him and two other males rob two teens of $40 in Manhattan. He was subsequently charged with robbery and possession of marijuana. Iler pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of petty larceny and received three years probation. His mom insists that his arrest does not indicate he is like the troublemaker he portrays in The Sopranos.
