Authorities said they know who broke into a Tamarac woman's home because the robber left his cell phone at the scene of the crime.

The Broward Sheriff's Office said Scano Sinclair, 28, of Miramar, broke into the 25-year-old woman's home Tuesday afternoon while she was sleeping in her bedroom. Click Here To Read More

Payday loan store robbery is becoming a popular crime, and another crook has tried to get away with it. Raymundo Gallegos has epically failed, not passed go, won't be getting $200, and instead is going to jail again, as this won't be his first stint inside for armed robbery. The presiding judge saw his incorrigibility, and gave him 10 years for the crime. Employees were threatened at gun point, and ironically, he could have used some cash advance loans after robbing a payday loan store for a lawyer.

A Meadow Drive woman reported Thursday that sometime on June 22, someone entered a bedroom in her house and stole a pair of diamond earrings worth $1,100. The woman's daughter reportedly admitted that she sold the earrings to a dealer for $50.
