A mugging quickly turned bizarre when the robber and his victim squared off at a gas station using a most unusual weapon: Squeegees.

Police say the would-be bandit asked the 38-year-old victim for a cigarette shortly before 10:45 p.m. Friday as the victim was walking along 118 Avenue near Wayne Gretzky Drive. Click Here To Read More

In October, Gary Gordon of Nevada, IA reported a burglary. Gordon indicated an unknown party entered his residence and took a half gallon of ice cream from the freezer. The loss was estimated at $5.00. Investigation is continuing.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. was arrested by Alabama police in February 1956 for his part in the Montgomery bus boycotts. He served a brief stint in jail.
