Store Manager Called Robbery Suspect's Mom

A 20-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly robbed a North Naples cellular telephone store Wednesday... and the store manager called his mother to tell her what he had done, according to the Collier County Sheriff's Office.

Douglas Conrad LaFrinier entered the Alltel Cellular Store on Naples Boulevard, Wednesday evening... pushed the 18-year-old manager to the floor and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the business. Click Here To Read More

Katherine Lambeth, 50, of Cloverhill Drive allowed a man named "G" to borrow her 1980 Oldsmobile, Officer Shawn Haney reported. In exchange, she received from him $50 worth of crack cocaine and a promise to return the car by 5 p.m. last Saturday. When he didn't return the car as promised, she reported her car missing Monday. The car is valued at $1,500.

Activist Jesse Jackson was arrested in December 1999 and charged with criminal trespass when he walked onto the grounds of an Illinois high school where a debate was raging around the penalization of several students expelled for fighting.
