When police received a report of someone tossing two bags of trash from a vehicle on Prescott Road Tuesday, they immediately turned to Twitter to try to catch the culprit.
A witness had provided a partial license plate number, so police decided that the fastest way to get the word out was by posting a message on Twitter seeking the public's help.
The glass to a snack machine in the Knott Hall commuter lounge was reported by a Loyola student to be broken. Campus Police responded and removed all remaining snacks.

Memphis police arrested Paul Wight, aka The Big Show, Paul Wight, in December 1998 for allegedly exposing himself to a female motel employee. Prosecutors had insufficient evidence to proceed and subsequently dropped the criminal charges. The 500-pound-wrestler--then billed as The Giant--was in Memphis for a World Championship Wrestling (WCW) event; he now wrestles (as The Big Show) for Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Entertainment, which took over WCW in 2001.
