Village Says Toilet Planters Have To Go

The planters in Tina Asmus' front yard aren't too pleasing to some of her neighbors, and village officials in Lakemoor have told her to remove them, or face a fine.

Asmus, who likes to recycle discarded items, created the planters out of two old toilets and a pedestal sink. Click Here To Read More

Cedar Rapids, Iowa police say a suspicious smell coming from a port-a-potty turned out to be leftovers from an illegal meth lab. Police discovered the remnants after responding to a call about the smell.

California authorities charged Backstreet Boy Nick Carter with drunk driving in March 2005 after the 25-year-old singer was pulled over for a traffic violation at about 7:30 PM. The police determined he was drunk during routine questioning. Carter failed the field sobriety test and was booked into the Huntington Beach City Jail. After four hours in custody, he was released, although he was issued a citation.
