Would-Be Thieves Use Grinder To Break Into Calgary Convenience Store

The owners of a northeast Calgary convenience store that was broken into on Friday morning say it's the second time in three weeks that their business has been targeted by thieves.

The G-Mart, located in the 1800 block of 14 Avenue N.E., was broken into just before 4 a.m.

A caller reported a man running naked through a store on Walden Avenue while another man was videotaping him.

Edward Furlong

Former kid-celebrity Edward Furlong was arrested in Kentucky in September 2004 on charges of public intoxication. Furlong and company allegedly arrived at a local grocery store in a rowdy manner and started to snatch lobsters from the store's tank. When police tried to search him, he put his hands up in the air and started to turn around in circles. Furlong was in custody only a handful of hours before posting bail and being released.
